【 種族偏見就像一副醜陋的眼鏡,應該要是違法的/Racial Prejudice Is An Ugly Glasses, It Should Be Illegal 】

在喬治・弗洛伊德事件之後,長時間沒有被正視的種族議題在一夕之間——以最令人可憎的方式——成為全球疫情之外另一個被人們高度關注的事件。
身在台灣我也常常在反思,在這個族群這麼多元的小島上,我們真的有落實平等的概念嗎?大家真的有以沒有預設立場的方式對待彼此嗎?
偏見一詞其實包含著有好有壞的刻板印象,但是隨著人們使用詞彙的方式,在現代的社會中,偏見與負面印象相關的連結遠大於正面的部分。而因為偏見衍生出的行為即是歧視。

After the killing of George Floyd, racial issues that aren’t taking seriously for a long time has, in the most hatful way, become another highly discussed topic over night in addition to the pandemic.
Living in Taiwan - a diverse island, has make me re-think more about our action on equality. Are we really treating each other without prejudice?
Prejudice is a term that originally include both good and bad sides of certain stereotypes. However, with the frequency of nowadays people use the word in associate with negative impressions and lesser-accepted behaviors, prejudice has became the representation of negative mindset. And actions that are based on prejudice is - Discrimination.
